Partners in
Care . . .
As we become partners in your healthcare you can expect: the
most current medical knowledge and treatment available; education
about your specific treatment; psychological and emotional support;
access to community resources and support groups; access to clinical
trials and research protocols.
You are an active and critical member of our partnership. There
may be times during the course of your treatment when you may
become puzzled by what we are doing or why we are doing it. We
believe knowledge empowers you to take control of your healthcare
issues. Our physicians and entire staff welcome the opportunity
to answer your questions. Timely and effective communication
strengthens our partnership.
This website has been designed to introduce you to your “partners
in care” who will be with you throughout your treatment
and recovery. As you explore the information we have gathered,
we trust you will find answers to questions you might have
regarding your overall relationship with our practice. And
again, should you have any questions, please ask. We look
forward to our partnership.

Your Feelings Matter
Our entire staff is here to support and encourage you on your
journey back to wellness. We understand you will have
many feelings – denial, anger, fear, sadness, loneliness – but
remember hope, determination, confidence, and courage are also
feelings that can help you take control and fight your disease.

We have a social worker on staff that can provide many resources
and services to help you and your family cope with the disease
process. There are many support groups available during and after
treatment that will be very helpful to you, your family and friends.
Naturally, friends and loved ones will
also have a range of emotions and questions about your type
of cancer, treatment options, and how they can support you
in the months to come.
